Mission 1: Find your Princess
The chosen one of the Andromeda constellation appears and turns out to be an online friend of Ryuichi's. Although it's less of a friend and more of a stalker. Despite his annoyance, Ryuichi is tasked by Romana to aid them in their battle against Poseidon's force. The terrain isn't a picnic to traverse to get there either, a tiny cluster of rocks that could only be called a replica of an archipelago from above.
Upon arriving at the scene Andromeda has already been backed into a corner from lack of experience, and Poseidon himself speaks to him. Before they can stop the god's advance Poseidon's forces get in the way and block the path, buying him time to dissuade Shouichi from siding with Romana.
When the Poseidon retreats, leaving behind a few more mooks, Andromeda takes on Dragon with a renewed vigor and a drive for vengeance. Something dark builds inside him and throws off it's attackers. Despite the sudden turn in events Unity group and Ryuichi fight on through. Eventually the knight is overtaken and forced to retreat. It is a blow to see a potential friend go the wrong way but there is nothing to do for it.
Ally/Enemy: Shouichi, of Andromeda
Enemies: Telkhines
Mission 2: Sibling Warfare
Ares' company battleship comes into neutral territory trying to claim it, and the constellation stone that landed inside that has yet to find it's match. Unity group is called in to try and recover and push back Ares forces. Upon arrival the god admits he had no idea about the stone, he just wanted to incite a possible fight out of boredom. The stone however was a bonus in the possession now of one of his best pilots.
They battle on against Ares to try and take back the ill-begotten treasure. Although the kick up of forces seems to catch the attention of people above. The stone apparently is one of the "Three Heroes", Hercules. In order to deal with any potential problems this could cause, the Fates send in a Knight of their own. A former servant of Hermes manipulated by their abilities.
The knight appears as the battle is turning, and puts a huge dent in both Ares and Unity group. Damaging Ares ship, he pulls back his forces to leave the hound to his former opponents. Now the Knight holds the stone. It's a tiring battle but eventually the enemy is defeated and the stone returned to Romana's hands.
Enemies: Ares brand MP Gespents, and MP Huckbein II. Amir, of Canis
Mission 3: Still not quite over it
After the scuffle with Ares putting the blip on their radar, the Fates call for Nemesis to get out there and cause some mayhem. The goddess of vengengeance appears and attacks innocents with Chaos Demons in order to call out Romana, knowing she won't ignore this. Unity group gets a move on to the scene and battle the forces.
Unfortunately Nemesis is not a person they were ready for. She is a god still in posession of powers to make her so. The battle turns in a bad way until a golden light appears from the nearby sea, bringing forth the Libra Gold Knight. Ryuichi is excited to see his old master and he engages Nemesis directly to buy time to defeat the rest of her freshly summoned hordes.
Nemesis pulls back to retreat after coming to blows with Tohma and being called back by the Fates. The Golden Knight tags along for a while longer to help the people recover from the attack and give instruction as necessary to Unity group. It's key information about where to find the other "Three Heroes" stones.
Ally: Tohma, of Libra
Enemies: Nemesis, Furies, Nabasu
Mission 4: Hero of the Stars
After the attack by Nemesis, and how close she came to Romana, there is a movement being made to advance things to their final stage. The location of one of the "Three Heroes" is discovered and moved in on, hopefully with "Perseus" they will be able to turn the tides of the battle. Our intrepid heroes follow the trail and leads, however they run into the Knights that serve under Ares. Worse, it seems they've already figured out the location of the other two hero stones.
The Knights of Gemini, and Taurus engage with Ares troops against Romana's and the Unity group. Ryuichi having never faced the power of Golden Knights is pretty thoroughly wrecked. Luckily he had been able to pull out the final move taught by his master and forces Taurus back. Gemini could still take him while fatigued but as losses to the numbers start to pile, Ares halfheartedly calls them back.
With them being the only lead on the other two heroes, Ryuichi attempts to stop them in their tracks, unsuccessful in his tired state. Ares' Knights escape but Romana's servant the Owl knight puts a tracer on them, and sends her own Golden Knights to follow them. Ryuichi needs time to recover, and there's no telling if he'll be ready to go by the time the heroes are found.
Enemies: Ford and Grey, of Gemini; Grimm, of Taurus; Ares brand MP Gespenst and MP Huckebein IIs
Mission 5: Let bygones be bygones
Ryuichi returns to the battlefield with both good and bad news by Romana. The Golden Knights have found the "God slaying heroes", but unfortunately they were overtaken by the heroes themselves. Nemesis had gotten to them by following Ares lazy trail and taken control of their minds for Erebus. Ryuichi and Unity Group appear on the scene and it's worse than imagined as the "Three Heroes" are not the only ones there to greet them.
Shouichi is back, and holding the body of a dead servant of Aphrodite. Stealing from her the Zodiac Stone of Virgo. With the new upgrade Shouichi and the Three Heroes stand before the desolated Knights that Romana had sent to track down their location. The people are too far gone to change back and Ryuichi is forced to fight all four of them. His only saving grace is Sagittarius and Ophiuchus arriving to aid him.
The Three Heroes are slain, unable to be saved even down to their cores. Shouichi flies off with Nemesis as the goddess leaves a swarm of demons to cover their retreat. Their tough, but not nearly as much as what they had just fought. When all is said and done, Ryuichi and the other Knights return to deliver the news. An absolute loss...but there had to be some way to turn it around.
Allies: Kido of Sagittarius, Mina of Ophiuchus (both late arrival)
Enemies: Nemesis, Perseus Knight, Orion Knight, Hercules Knight, Shouichi of Virgo, Chaos Demons
Final Mission: Exclamation!
Despite the decimation to her numbers there is a glimmer of hope in the left overs of the final battle. Although the poor souls that wielded them were lost, the stones remain and they have the power to pierce the veil and get into the dimension that Erebus dwells. The goddess calls on everyone else wronged by Erebus to send their Golden Knights to aid her in this final campaign, and although begrudgingly they agree to it.
Ryuichi, despite not being as strong as he wished he was, calls upon the powers of his constellation to boost him to the heights needed to help. Aotatsu shines gold, as do the other minor Knights, and they fly with their allies into the vortex leading to the planet of the gods. Erebus isn't exactly thrilled to see them there, and throws every ounce of force he has to oppose them. The demons swarming, empowered by the powers of the Sisters of Fate, provide a real threat to heroes come to face Erebus.
The battle is hard and long, but with every one pushing him forward, Ryuichi breaks forth to fight Erebus head on. Though he is not the real hero, and he does not have the power of a god slayer, so Erebus thrashes him. Despite the beatings though, he continues to get up, and reveals the ace in the hole that everyone provided him. Within Aotatsu's hand are the Three Heroes stones, which energize him just enough to give a deciding blow to Erebus and start turning the tides of the battle. The spirits of the constellations from the three heroes manifest and empower Ryuichi's blade, as ghostly images of the people that had died before aid him in attacking the Primordial Darkness.
The enemy is defeated, after a long battle, Erebus cursing that his fun is finally over. The Sisters of Fate unamused by their ally being taken out, curse his being in the same way they had the other gods. An endless cycle of death and rebirth thrown into the other dimension. Ryuichi is about to attack them for throwing aside their comrade, but is stopped by Romana and the other gods. They stand before the sisters and their bodies begin to build with power, and they throw the Knights back into the other dimension.
"This fight is ours from now on, without Erebus to empower them we have no fear of these three. We shall show them the power of our wills with the exclamation of my name!"
The knights shout out Romana's true name as if it comes to them all like a bolt: Athena! A mighty explosion occurs and everyone is returned to Earth. It wasn't the goodbye he wanted, but this was the ending she deserved. Everything was in it's rightful place.
Allies: 13 Zodiac Knights, Sons and Daughters of Wisdom Knights
Enemies: Erebus, Nemesis, Sisters of Fate, Chaos Demons
Bonus Mission: Break The Heart
Everything starts to wind down, without a figurehead the Sons and Daughters of Wisdom start to disperse. A lot of the Knights even retire now that there is no need for them. However there was a few more loose ends. Some very noisy loose ends in the form of Shouichi causing damages and inciting riots with the remaining servants of the other gods, unsatisfied with their ending.
Ryuichi's master passes onto him the Libra stone so he can confront Shouichi on even grounds. When Unity group appears to intercept them, it's a bit of a ragtag group, but enough of an existence to cause some serious problems if left unchecked. Ryuichi tries to plead with the other boy to make him stop this, but it's to no avail. Shouichi refuses to stop unless Ryuichi acknowledges his feelings.
It wasn't going to be how he wanted, the two engage and start an absolute brawl. It had been rumored that if two Zodiac Knights ever fought it'd be like an endless struggle that could last for a millennium. Though through each blow the two were able to converse their feelings better than they ever would have through words. With the help of his allies and his overwhelming feelings, Ryuichi defeats Shouichi and his gang.
In the aftermath of the battle, Ryuichi decides to leave behind his job as a Knight and drag Shouichi off somewhere he won't cause any trouble. It wasn't the answer the other boy wanted, but it was going to be the closest he could get- living together with him.
Enemy: Shouichi of Virgo, Rogue Knights, Ares Brand Gespensts, Telkhines
